Our Story

Hi I’m Raychel the founder of award recognised Seagreen Cuisine seaweed range. I also design and lead immersive small group tours across Mayo, Clare, Galway and the wider wild Atlantic Way. including seaweed harvesting experiences alsont the shoreline and wild foraging tours in Geoparks and Joyce Country and Western Lakes. My tours combine food, landscape and storytelling, with a strong focus on sustainable food, Irish Heritage and cultural experiences. As part of my curated culinary experiences, I bring guests from landscapt to plate through hands-on demonstrations, cookery classes using foraged ingredients. I create meaningful travel experiences that connect people to place, culture and food traditions.

An overhead, photographic view of a vibrant nutrient-rich meal bowl featuring dried seaweed as the star ingredient. Dark green seaweed ribbons and crisp sheets are artfully layered with sliced avocado, cubes of tofu, sesame seeds, and brown rice in a matte white ceramic bowl. The bowl sits on a textured linen napkin in soft sand color, placed on a light oak tabletop. Natural morning light from the top left creates gentle shadows and subtle highlights on each ingredient, emphasizing freshness and texture. The background includes softly blurred elements like a small dish of extra seaweed and a tiny glass jar of tamari. The mood is wholesome, modern, and aspirational, with clean composition and a top-down perspective that showcases every detail clearly.

A clean, modern infographic-style scene photographed on a white background, showing three small, identical glass dishes arranged in a horizontal row, each containing a different dried seaweed variety: fine dark flakes, wide glossy sheets, and delicate fronds. Subtle labels printed on minimalist, sea-green cards sit neatly behind each dish, listing benefits like "iodine", "minerals", and "plant protein" in small, refined typography. Soft, even studio lighting minimizes shadows and keeps everything crisp and legible. The mood is educational, professional, and reassuring, ideal for illustrating health and sustainability benefits. Straight-on, slightly elevated camera angle with sharp focus throughout and a clean, uncluttered photographic realism style that emphasizes clarity and trustworthiness.

A polished, photographic flat lay of an eco-conscious snack scene featuring neatly stacked dried seaweed crisps in a shallow matte stoneware bowl, accompanied by small glass containers of sea salt and chili flakes. The arrangement sits on a reclaimed wood board with subtle grain patterns, placed atop a seafoam-green linen cloth. Natural late-afternoon light from the right adds warmth and casts soft, elongated shadows, creating a cozy yet refined atmosphere. In the corners of the frame, faintly blurred, lie a closed recycled cardboard Seagreen Cuisine box and a sprig of dried kelp. The composition uses the rule of thirds and a balanced distribution of shapes, conveying a professional, sustainable, and health-forward snacking experience.

Zuri Ndlovu

A serene coastal kitchen still life featuring a large, clear glass jar filled with folded dried seaweed sheets in deep emerald and almost-black tones, their edges slightly curled. The jar is placed on a polished white quartz countertop beside a narrow, rectangular tray holding small mounds of different seaweed varieties, each with distinct textures and hues. Through a nearby window, out of focus, a hint of blue-green ocean and sky is visible, bathed in soft overcast daylight. The lighting is cool and diffused, creating a calm, eco-conscious mood. Photographic realism with a slightly elevated angle and balanced composition, emphasizing transparency, purity, and the connection between sea and sustainable nutrition.

A detailed macro photograph of a single dried seaweed sheet held flat on a pale bamboo board, revealing its delicate, lace-like structure, subtle salt crystals, and varied shades of dark green, teal, and nearly black. Soft side lighting from the right skims across the surface, accentuating its crinkled texture and creating a gentle gradient of light to shadow. The background falls into a smooth, seafoam-colored blur, with no distracting elements. The mood is scientific yet appetizing, highlighting the natural beauty and complexity of seaweed as a superfood. Tight framing, shallow depth of field, and crisp focus on the central portion of the sheet convey a professional, modern aesthetic aligned with premium, planet-friendly cuisine.
